As its sole representative in Türkiye, the international brand of the British Institute method enables young people aged 14-19 to learn and speak the language in the most natural and fun way with Turkish and foreign (native speaker) teachers. The Education Model consists of 3 stages:
1. Main lesson: Takes place in a classroom setting with foreign teachers.
2. Activity programmes: Offers optional activities every day for an hour, such as speaking, listening, music, educational film work and drama.
3. Feedback: Regular education newsletters inform parents about the words and topics their children have learned; guidance is provided in language education.

At British Institute, we provide education suited to the age and development of young people aged 14-19. Before starting the course, our students take a written and then an oral Placement Test. Divided into groups by age and English level, they are supported to learn the language with enjoyment and understanding, as well as through practice.
Our instructors who teach English courses hold teaching qualifications and are experienced in their field. A community of expert, experienced instructors and rich materials make our communication- and practice-focused English courses support children's language development and social skills at the same time. Your child can join courses in classes of no more than 12 people, or in private closed groups that we create for you.

Safety
We take the utmost care over safety at our school. Ensuring the safety of your children, your most precious treasures, is one of our core duties. That is why our occupational health and safety specialists have put adequate safety measures in place. Our students' journeys to and from school are carefully monitored, and until their parents arrive, students wait at our school under the supervision of our education advisers. Staying in constant contact with parents, at the end of the course we raise generations who have a college-level command of a foreign language and use it actively.
Throughout the programme
Teachers
Teachers are selected from among those suitable for teaching on our high school English courses. Our educators, who best understand and interpret the high school level, know how to approach their students. In addition, our instructors must have at least 3 years' experience in teaching young people, hold a pedagogical qualification and communicate easily with young people; after passing written and oral exams, they can work in the high school English course department of our British Institute branch.
Measurement and Assessment
With the measurement and assessment system, students' levels on the high school English course are identified. At this stage, measurements and assessments are made of how much students have benefited from their education. Students take exams, and the results are graded out of 100. In assessing our students, their listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, writing and speaking skills are evaluated. As the teaching given to our students on the high school English course is assessed through fun written and oral methods, students with identified gaps are given the chance to catch up with one-to-one lessons.
Guidance
Thanks to our guidance system, British Institute's high school English courses are preferred over other institutions in the sector. Our expert psychological counsellors, who are by our students' side whenever they need help, provide guidance services. This service is not provided to students alone. Students' success is, in a way, directly related to their families' attitudes and behaviour. Another important contribution of our guidance service is helping students get to know themselves better and build good relationships with those around them. Students are continuously observed by guidance teachers. As a result of this observation, their psychological development is followed closely, and education is planned to suit that development and delivered with the right methods.
